A respected multidisciplinary consultancy based in Manchester is looking to appoint a Project Manager to join their expanding team. With a strong pipeline of work across infrastructure, commercial, education and healthcare sectors, this is an excellent opportunity for a Project Manager to join a supportive and growing business offering clear progression routes and the chance to work on high-profile regional projects.
This is a key role for a Project Manager seeking long-term development within a collaborative and professional team. The successful Project Manager will work closely with senior leaders and clients across all stages of the project lifecycle, from feasibility to completion, taking ownership of delivery and building trusted relationships.
The Project Manager’s role
The Project Manager will be responsible for delivering a variety of schemes across the public and private sector, managing programmes, budgets, and risks while ensuring projects are completed to the highest standard. You’ll be client-facing, working closely with stakeholders and consultants, ensuring communication remains effective throughout the process.
Typical projects include school refurbishments, new healthcare builds, commercial office fit-outs, and infrastructure upgrades. The Project Manager will be expected to lead project meetings, prepare detailed reports, and maintain compliance with industry regulations.
The Project Manager

Experience working as a Project Manager within a consultancy or client-side environment

Degree qualified in a relevant subject such as Construction Project Management, Quantity Surveying, or Civil Engineering

Ideally working towards or already Chartered (RICS, APM, CIOB or equivalent)

Strong understanding of project delivery from pre-construction through to handover

Excellent communication and client-facing skills

Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
