Senior Quantity Surveyor

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a skilled Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a well-established, multi-disciplinary consultancy in Sidcup renowned for its expertise across both public and private sectors.

With a history dating back to 1954 and recent success as Quantity Surveyors on major frameworks, this practice is looking to expand its dynamic team to support exciting projects across London and the South East.

The Role: Senior Quantity Surveyor

As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will take on a key role in the delivery of both project and professional services for a wide variety of public and private sector clients. You will work on schemes ranging in value from £500k to £30m, across sectors such as healthcare, education, infrastructure, and commercial.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Cost estimating and procurement.
• Tendering and contract management using JCT forms of contract.
• Measurement to NRM2 standards.
• Financial control, valuations, and risk management.
• Project reporting and mentoring junior team members.

You’ll report directly to the Partner Quantity Surveyors and assist in co-ordinating and supporting the training of Intermediate Surveyors within the team.

About You

The ideal Senior Quantity Surveyor will have:

• A RICS accredited degree qualification.
• Previous Quantity Surveying experience within a UK Consultancy / PQS firm.
• Strong Pre and Post Contract experience.
• A successful track record leading projects from inception to completion, ideally £500k – £30m
• Ideally MRICS or currently working towards
