Senior CDM Principal Designer

A well-regarded architectural and building consultancy based in Colchester is seeking a Senior CDM Principal Designer to join its health and safety team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Senior CDM Principal Designer who is looking to progress their career within a supportive and technically strong team.

The Senior CDM Principal Designer’s role
The Senior CDM Principal Designer will be responsible for delivering Principal Designer services across commercial and residential projects. You will liaise with clients, design teams, and contractors to advise on risk mitigation from concept through to construction.

The Senior CDM Principal Designer

• At least 4 years’ experience in a CDM or Principal Designer role

• Familiar with the CDM Regulations 2015 and relevant health and safety legislation

• Design-based degree (Architecture, Engineering or Surveying preferred)

• Strong report writing and communication skills

• NEBOSH Construction Certificate or APS Membership desirable
