A respected independent consultancy with over 40 years of industry success is seeking a skilled and ambitious Building Surveyor to join their team of 22, which includes Building Surveyors and Architectural Technologists.

The Building Surveyor Role

The Building Surveyor will take on a varied workload, with a primary focus on contract administration and technical specification writing.

The role will largely involve working on commercial property projects for a wide range of clients, including high-profile organisations. Joining this collaborative and supportive team offers the chance to grow in a role with increasing leadership opportunities and progression to partnership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality contract administration and specification writing for commercial property projects
  • Work closely with a diverse portfolio of clients, ensuring service excellence and client satisfaction
  • Demonstrate self-sufficiency in managing project responsibilities while collaborating with a talented team
  • Take on leadership duties and actively contribute to the company’s strategic growth

The Ideal Building Surveyor

  • MRICS qualification (preferred but not essential)
  • RICS-accredited degree in Building Surveying or equivalent
  • Proven experience in a construction consultancy environment
  • Strong expertise in contract administration and specification writing
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
