A client of mine, a long-established multidisciplinary consultancy with a strong reputation across the built environment, are keen to speak with a talented Senior Building Surveyor to join their London office.

Offering the successful Senior Building Surveyor the opportunity to work within a high-performing Building Surveying team, this role comes with a strong emphasis on traditional surveying duties, contract administration, and a full range of professional services across a variety of sectors.

The Senior Building Surveyor’s Role

The successful Senior Building Surveyor will take on a broad range of instructions, including refurbishment projects, contract administration, and professional services, while also supporting client relationship development and contributing to internal mentoring and graduate development.

You will work with a variety of clients across sectors, providing expert advice, managing key accounts, and delivering both project-based and professional work with minimal supervision.

The Successful Senior Building Surveyor Will Have

Qualifications:

  • MRICS qualified for at least 3 years
  • Degree in Building Surveying or a related field

Experience & Attributes:

  • Strong experience in professional and project-based building surveying duties
  • Capable of managing multiple workstreams across sectors
  • Excellent client-facing and communication skills
  • Confident working both independently and as part of a wider team
  • Ability to mentor and support graduate surveyors
  • A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel when required
