The Successful Intermediate Building Surveyor’s Role

The Intermediate Building Surveyor will gain exposure to a wide range of projects, working on some of London’s most prestigious and historic properties.

You’ll take on diverse responsibilities, including contract administration, defect investigations, condition surveys, and project management, while receiving expert guidance throughout your APC journey.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in delivering a full range of professional and project services.
• Work on contract administration for projects up to £2,500,000+VAT.
• Undertake insurance reinstatement projects, planned maintenance surveys, and defect investigations.
• Contribute to party wall matters, licences for alterations, and reinstatement cost assessments.
• Collaborate with senior surveyors and gain exposure to client relationships.
• Progress towards MRICS qualification with comprehensive APC support.

The Ideal Intermediate Building Surveyor will have

• BSc or MSc in Building Surveying or an RICS-accredited degree.
• Dedicated to APC progression.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• A proactive and enthusiastic approach to learning.
• Team-oriented with the confidence to take initiative.
