A respected, multi-disciplinary consultancy is looking for a motivated Graduate Fire Engineer to join their growing fire safety team in Manchester.
This is an ideal position for a Graduate Fire Engineer eager to kickstart their career and gain hands-on experience across a diverse portfolio of projects.
The Graduate Fire Engineer’s Role
The successful Graduate Fire Engineer will assist senior engineers in delivering fire strategies, fire risk assessments, and design-stage consultancy services. Working closely with internal and external stakeholders, the Graduate Fire Engineer will help ensure building safety compliance across commercial, residential, and mixed-use developments.
This opportunity allows the Graduate Fire Engineer to develop technical knowledge in fire dynamics, compartmentation, evacuation modelling, and passive/active fire protection solutions while working under the guidance of experienced engineers and fire safety professionals.
The Graduate Fire Engineer

A degree in Fire Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Building Services, or a related subject

A genuine interest in fire safety and engineering principles

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Eagerness to learn and progress towards Chartership (IFE or equivalent)

Proficient in technical software such as AutoCAD, FDS or similar (preferred but not essential)
