My client is seeking a skilled Associate Fire Engineer with 5-6 years of engineering experience to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will work on a variety of projects, predominantly based in London, and will be required to attend the office at least three days per week (subject to site visit schedules).

This position is ideal for someone with a well-rounded skill set who thrives in a collaborative environment and is eager to contribute across multiple service areas, such as Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) and Fire Risk Assessments (FRAs).

While a degree or qualification in fire engineering is preferred, practical experience within the industry is highly valued.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide fire engineering support across a range of projects, including CFD modelling and FRA-related services.
  • Undertake site visits to assess fire safety requirements and provide actionable recommendations.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver tailored fire safety solutions.
  • Manage multiple elements of fire safety consultancy, ensuring compliance with UK regulations and standards.
  • Maintain flexibility to adapt to varying workloads and project requirements.

Person Specification

  • Experience: 5-6 years of engineering experience, with a broad skill set in fire safety consultancy.
  • Education: A degree or qualification in fire engineering is preferred but not essential. Relevant industry experience will be considered highly valuable.
  • Location: Must be able to commute to the London office for at least three days per week.
  • Training: A willingness to learn and develop professionally, with support provided by the company.
