CDM Principal Designer

A family-oriented multi-disciplinary consultancy in Sevenoaks is seeking a CDM Principal Designer to join its health and safety division. With a strong emphasis on work-life balance and collaboration, this firm offers a supportive environment for an experienced CDM Principal Designer.
They have a trusted client base allowing for great career prospects within the long-term. You will work across the board on Commercial, Education, Healthcare and Infastructure projects. Taking the lead where appropriate and collobatrating with more Senior staff on more complex projects.
The CDM Principal Designer’s role
The CDM Principal Designer will be responsible for ensuring the integration of health and safety in the design process and advising clients on their duties under CDM 2015. The role also includes preparing pre-construction information and liaising closely with all project stakeholders.
The CDM Principal Designer

Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar CDM or Principal Designer role

Good working knowledge of CDM Regulations 2015

Background in Architecture, Engineering or Surveying desirable

Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills

APS membership or NEBOSH qualification advantageous
