Paralegal

A respected and long-established legal practice based in London is seeking a committed Paralegal to join their established Family Law team. This is an excellent opportunity for a career-driven Paralegal to develop within a reputable firm known for handling complex family matters with care and discretion. The successful Paralegal will play a key role in supporting experienced solicitors and gaining exposure to high-quality casework.

The incoming Paralegal will work across a variety of family law areas, including divorce proceedings, child arrangements, financial disputes, and protective injunctions. This role is well-suited to a Paralegal who thrives in a fast-paced legal environment and is keen to progress within family law. Daily work will include legal drafting, client liaison, and case preparation, all while working under the guidance of senior solicitors.

The Paralegal’s role

The Paralegal will be responsible for supporting solicitors in all aspects of client casework. Key duties will include drafting legal documents, preparing court bundles, maintaining accurate case records, and handling confidential correspondence. The Paralegal will assist in managing client expectations, ensuring sensitive cases are handled with professionalism and empathy.

This London-based Paralegal opportunity involves hands-on experience and regular contact with clients and external agencies. The role demands strong time management, initiative, and a high standard of written communication.

The Paralegal

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Paralegal within family law.

• Law degree or equivalent (LPC or SQE study advantageous).

• Exposure to both public and private family law cases preferred.

• Excellent client care and organisational skills.

• A genuine interest in long-term progression in family law.
