Senior Quantity Surveyor

An award-winning and entrepreneurial construction consultancy is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their growing London office. This is an excellent opportunity for a confident Senior Quantity Surveyor to take ownership of high-profile commercial schemes and work alongside a collaborative, multi-disciplinary team.

The Senior Quantity Surveyor Role

As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will join a dynamic London office of over 80 professionals, ideally situated just 10 minutes from Farringdon Station or 5 minutes from Barbican. The successful Senior Quantity Surveyor will take a leading role within the firm’s Workplace/Commercial division, initially overseeing phase three of a flagship Central London office development for a prestigious client – a project set to complete within the next 18 months.

This role offers the flexibility of hybrid working, with the Senior Quantity Surveyor expected to spend 1-2 days on site, 1 day in the office, and the remainder working remotely.

Beyond the initial project, there are exciting pathways to either deepen your specialism within the commercial sector or diversify into additional markets such as Health, Science, Residential, and Education.

The Senior Quantity Surveyor – Requirements

• To be considered for this Senior Quantity Surveyor role, you should have:
• MRICS qualification or be nearing completion.
• A RICS-accredited degree (preferably in Quantity Surveying).
• Strong pre and post contract experience.
• Proven experience on commercial/office schemes in the UK.
• A background in UK-based cost consultancy / PQS environment.
• Ability to manage clients and mentor junior team members.
