Quantity Surveyor

An award-winning and entrepreneurial Cost Consultancy is looking for an ambitious Quantity Surveyor to join their expanding London office.

The Role: Quantity Surveyor
As a Quantity Surveyor, you’ll join a vibrant London office of 85 professionals, located just a short 10-minute walk from Farringdon Station or 5 minutes from Barbican.

The incoming Quantity Surveyor will join the firms thriving Workplace/Commercial division and will initially work on an exciting large office development, currently in phase 3 and due to be completed within 18 months for a prestigious client.

Enjoying a flexible hybrid working model, you’ll be based on this Central London project 1-2 days per week, 1x day in the office and the remainder from home.

Beyond this, there are opportunities to either continue within the firms Commercial/Workplace team and become a specialist in this area or to expand out into the various other sectors they operate in, including Health, Science, Residential and Education.

The Quantity Surveyor – Requirements
To succeed in this role, you’ll ideally have:

• MRICS ideally (or working towards it).
• A RICS-accredited degree qualification (ideally in Quantity Surveying).
• Pre- and post-contract knowledge.
• Experience in commercial / office projects is advantageous
• Previous Quantity Surveying experience in a UK cost consultancy or PQS firm is a MUST
