The Senior Quantity Surveyor Role

As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for managing a diverse range of projects, including cladding remediation, retrofit schemes, estate regeneration, rooftop developments, and traditional building works, with values reaching £50m.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading pre- and post-contract duties, including cost planning, valuations, risk management, and reporting
• Managing and mentoring junior surveyors, supporting their professional development
• Taking full ownership of projects, ensuring successful delivery within budget and on schedule
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships, driving repeat business and consultancy growth

The Senior Quantity Surveyor – Requirements

• RICS-accredited degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field
• MRICS qualification preferred (or working towards)
• 5+ years’ experience in a UK PQS / Consultancy environment
• Strong pre- and post-contract expertise
• Proven ability to manage projects independently and lead teams
