A leading Architecture firm is currently seeking a Principal Designer to join their dynamic team in Leeds.

An exciting opportunity to work on a wide range of projects across various sectors, including residential, commercial, industrial and public projects.

The Principal Designer Role

  • You will collaborate with design teams to identify and mitigate risks, ensuring that all projects meet regulatory requirements from inception to completion.
  • You will be involved in managing design risk assessments, preparing pre-construction information (PCI), and overseeing the review of construction phase plans (CPP).
  • The Principal Designer will work on diverse projects throughout the North, offering a challenging yet rewarding opportunity to enhance your career within a supportive environment.
  • This role offers the chance to lead high-profile projects, developing your skills while making a real impact on the region's construction landscape.

The Principal Designer

  • Proven experience as a Principal Designer within a consultancy environment
  • Strong understanding of CDM 2015 regulations
  • Background in design, architecture, or construction
  • NEBOSH Construction Certificate (essential)
  • APS or IOSH membership is desirable
  • Excellent communication and client-facing skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
