Overview
A leading law firm based in London is seeking a Senior Associate to join their high-performing Private Development Team. This permanent, full-time role is suited to a Senior Associate with a strong background in residential development and a commercial mindset, ready to play a key part in one of the UK’s most respected legal teams in the real estate sector.
As a Senior Associate, you’ll be joining a department known for advising some of the country’s top private developers on complex, large-scale housing projects. This is a rare opportunity for an experienced Senior Associate to take on a client-facing role with exposure to major urban development work across London and nationally.
The Senior Associate’s role
The Senior Associate will focus on a varied caseload that includes:

Site acquisition and disposal work for significant residential development schemes

Advising on technical and estate management issues raised by long-standing clients

Collaborating with in-house specialists across planning, construction, litigation, corporate and tax

Supporting client relationships with regular contact and commercially driven legal advice
The Senior Associate
To be successful in this Senior Associate role, you will ideally have:

At least 5 years’ post-qualification experience in property law, ideally with a focus on residential development

Proven ability to manage large, complex transactions within the private development space

A proactive, collaborative approach to client service and legal problem-solving

UK legal qualification (LLB or equivalent, LPC/SQE, and admission as a solicitor in England & Wales)
