Quantity Surveyor

A prestigious construction company in the Cayman Islands are seeking a pre-construction specialist Quantity Surveyor to join their breathtaking, tropical offices , with the added benefit of a tax-free salary.

The Quantity Surveyor's Role

As a Quantity Surveyor, you will lead pre-construction activities, including detailed cost analysis, preparation of Bills of Quantities, and developing precise pricing strategies for significant projects. Collaborating with key stakeholders, you'll ensure cost-effective solutions and maintain budgetary oversight from project initiation through to completion.

This role also includes mentoring junior surveyors, ensuring quality control, and providing strategic cost management on complex, large-scale commercial or mixed-use projects.

The Quantity Surveyor

The ideal Quantity Surveyor will have:

• A Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
• Extensive pre-construction experience with General Contractors, focusing on large-scale commercial and mixed-use projects (not high-volume resi)
• Strong understanding of construction processes and advanced cost management skills.
• A successful history of delivering accurate cost forecasts on substantial projects
