The Quantity Surveyor Role

As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role in delivering a diverse portfolio of projects across a range of sectors including Residential, Commercial, Public sector & Education – including cladding remediation, retrofit schemes, estate regeneration, rooftop developments, and traditional building works, with values reaching £50m.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Pre- and post-contract duties – cost planning, valuations, cost control, and reporting
• Working across multiple projects in the residential, commercial, and mixed-use sectors
• Supporting junior surveyors and working closely with senior leadership
• Taking the lead on key client relationships and driving project success

This consultancy fosters a collaborative and innovative environment, with a team of 25 professionals ranging from junior to chartered senior surveyors. With a flat structure that encourages fresh ideas and career progression, there is a clear pathway to Senior QS and Director-level roles.

The Quantity Surveyor – Requirements

• RICS-accredited degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a UK PQS / Consultancy environment
• Good pre- and post-contract knowledge
• A driven and professional approach with client-facing experience
• MRICS or committed to achieving
